2024
  • The Joint Innovation Center was jointly established and inaugurated by Tiangong Tools, the National Innovation Center Par Excellence and Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute, marking an important step for Tiangong to accelerate the development of new quality productive forces under the drive of technological innovation and enhance its core competitiveness.
  • The National Key R&D Project - “Research and Application of Key Technologies for Powder Metallurgy and Additive Manufacturing of New Steel for Die Casting Moulds”, led by Tiangong and jointly participated by eight companies including Tsinghua University and CATL, was officially launched.
2023
  • Zhu Xiaokun, Chairman of the Board of Tiangong International, attended the “2023 Belt and Road ASEAN Business Leaders Summit” in Bangkok, Thailand, where he was awarded the “Order of the Crown of Thailand” and the title of “Ambassador of China-Thailand Friendship and Exchange”.
  • The story of powder metallurgy was featured in the episode “Chinese Technology in the Seventeenth Century” of the large-scale industrial documentary series “Pillars of Industry” on CCTV-2, marking the advent of “technology-led” ear of China's powder metallurgy.
  • Tiangong International made a significant foray into the integrated large-scale casting sector, and its 7,000-ton high-speed forging project was officially put into operation, enhancing the overall demand for integrated large-scale mould materials in the market.
  • Titanium and titanium alloy products were successfully applied for the first time in Grade A and S Projects in the world's top-tier 3C industry, and Tiangong International secured its qualified supplier status, significantly enhancing its industry influence while driving comprehensive development of its quality and brand.
  • Tiangong Precision successfully passed the Customs AEO Advanced Certification.
2022
  • The carbide project, with an annual production capacity of 1,000 tons of carbide rods, 5 million solid carbide cutting tools, and 20 million indexable inserts, was put into operation, realizing the domestic production of "high-precision" cutting tools used for advanced manufacturing.
2021
  • The supporting equipment for the domestic high-end powder tap production line with an annual output of 5 million pieces was officially installed, resolving the critical bottleneck in high-end cutting tools used in Chinese manufacturing.
  • According to the rankings of the SMR Steel and the Metal Products Research Center, the comprehensive strength of Tiangong tool and mould steel rose to the top in the world. Tiangong Precision Tools (Thailand) Co., Ltd. achieved full production capacity on the world's first overseas modern production line of precision cutting tools, exceeding 12 million pieces annually.
2020
  • After winning the Mayors' Quality Awards of Danyang and Zhenjiang, Tiangong was awarded the Jiangsu Governor's Quality Award.
  • The first overseas precision cutting tool production plant was completed and put into operations in Rojana, Thailand.
  • Tiangong successfully overcame the technical challenges of powder metallurgy, and broke the international monopolies on critical 'bottleneck' technologies in powder metallurgy, becoming the only domestic manufacturer capable of large-scale powder metallurgy production, thus filling a critical domestic gap.
2019
  • The first large-scale powder metallurgy production line in China was completed and put into operation at Tiangong, which filled the domestic gap and broke the international monopoly. Tiangong became a leader in the R&D and mass production of new materials in China's high-end manufacturing industry. The comprehensive strength of its mould steel rose to the top two among the world's leading mould steel enterprises, second only to the world-renowned Voestalpine Group.
  • Aligning with the Belt and Road Initiatives, the first overseas factory of Tiangong International - the Thailand Plant - started construction in the Rojana Industrial Park, Thailand, marking an important step towards achieving international integration of production and sales.
2016
  • Overseas subsidiaries expanded to 11 locations.
  • Tiangong won the first EU anti-dumping and countervailing duty case against China's special steel, setting a precedent for the industry nationwide. This victory boosted national confidence and enhanced China's international standing.
2015
  • Tiangong started to produce cemented carbide cutting tools.
2011
  • The comprehensive strength of its tool and mould steel ranked among the top four of the world's leading tool and mould steel enterprises and first in China.
  • Tiangong started to produce titanium and titanium alloys, and successfully produced the first titanium ingot on November 6.
2010
  • On June 18, Jiangsu Tiangong Titanium Technology Co., Ltd. officially started construction in Jurong.
  • Tiangong established subsidiaries in South Korea and Taiwan, with all chimneys dismantled, transitioning entirely to natural gas, and then constructed a large-scale industrial wastewater treatment plant.
2007
  • On July 26, Tiangong International was listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. On the first day of listing, its stock price rose by 76% at the opening and reached a peak increase of 83%, becoming one of the "Five Kings of New Stocks".
  • The company's self-operated exports exceeded US$100 million for the first time.
2005
  • On June 28, Tiangong Aihe Special Steel Co., Ltd. successfully put into operation, producing its first batch of mould steel. It was equipped with advanced facilities such as a 25-ton electric arc furnace and a 30-ton ladle arc refining furnace. It acquired 35% of the French shares, increasing Tiangong's ownership to 75%.
2004
  • The high-speed steel production of Tiangong exceeded 30,000 tons, ranking first globally.
2003
  • It was the first to jointly establish a High-Speed Tool Steel Research Center with the Central Iron & Steel Research Institute.
1997
  • Its output of high-speed tool steel ranked first in China.
1996
  • The first enterprise party committee was established in Danyang City.
1995
  • Tiangong obtained the self-managed import and export right.
1992
  • On November 18, the first batch of high-speed tool steel was produced and the steel rolling mill was installed, solving the problem of raw material bottlenecks.
1987
  • The first cutting tool, Twist Drill, was produced, marking the official development of hole cutting tool industry. The industrial output value reached RMB 4.5 million that year.
1981
  • The founder started to produce paper strings and electroplates with a difficult loan of RMB 2,000, and the industrial output value was RMB 250,000 that year.
