Innovation is always the soul of a company's steady development | Tiangong International's 2025 Annual Science and Technology Innovation Work Summary and Commendation Conference was grandly held
On December 22, Tiangong International grandly held its 2025 Annual Science and Technology Innovation Work Summary and Commendation Conference, attended by over 500 senior managers and key personnel from across the company. Zhu Xiaokun, Chairman of the Board of Tiangong International, attended the conference and delivered an important speech.
The conference comprehensively reviewed Tiangong International's scientific and technological innovation achievements in 2025, clarified the strategic direction for innovation work in 2026, and presented awards to outstanding teams and individuals in recognition of their contributions throughout the year. Technical leaders from various business units delivered commitment statements regarding their innovation goals for the upcoming year.
87 innovation achievements were showcased, and over one million yuan in rewards was awarded to honor frontline innovators.
In 2025, Tiangong evaluated a total of 87 scientific and technological innovation projects spanning multiple areas, including process optimization, equipment retrofitting, new product development, and management enhancement. These initiatives effectively addressed production bottlenecks, improved efficiency and product quality, reduced costs, and enhanced safety standards, generating tens of millions of yuan in direct and indirect economic benefits throughout the year.At the conference, awards were presented to recognize these achievements: eight individuals received the Special Contribution Award for New Products and Technologies; outstanding and best technical teams were selected; and prizes—including Grand Prize, First, Second, and Third Prizes, as well as Encouragement Awards—were granted, with total rewards amounting to RMB 1.007 million.The conference also outlined a phased incentive mechanism for the "Open Competition Mechanism for Selecting the Best Candidates" in 2026, under which special awards will be granted for major innovation tasks such as nuclear fusion materials and provincial-ministerial co-led projects, aiming to consistently fuel innovation momentum through institutional measures.
Treating innovation as its "lifeline"—the core code behind 45 years of development.
In his speech, Zhu Xiaokun emphasized that innovation is not an optional choice but a mandatory requirement for Tiangong’s survival and development. He pointed out that Tiangong has thrived for 45 years—far exceeding the average lifespan of private enterprises—precisely because it has always treated innovation as the company’s “lifeline.” By consistently recognizing, rewarding, and tolerating failures in innovation, the company has fostered a shared mindset among managers and employees: to want to innovate, dare to innovate, be capable of innovating, and know how to innovate.
Innovation is not the exclusive privilege of a few, but the fundamental responsibility of every Tiangong employee.
“Innovation is a ‘marathon’—today’s achievements stem from strategic decisions made five years ago,” Zhu Xiaokun stated, emphasizing that innovation must adhere to long-termism. In recent years, Tiangong has leveraged its industrial-scale advantages in powder materials to solidify its position in the new energy vehicle sector, while also achieving breakthroughs in cutting-edge areas such as aerospace materials and fusion materials, and deeply engaging in material research and development for the robotics industry. These accomplishments are precisely the outcomes of forward-looking innovation strategies initiated five years ago. “Had we clung to tradition and halted innovation—in our industries, processes, or management—we would never have attained our current standing in the industry,” he added.
Young people are the main force driving innovation at Tiangong.
Zhu Xiaokun specifically addressed young employees, saying: “Young people are Tiangong’s most dynamic and promising force for innovation. The company is firmly committed to providing a platform, resources, and support for young talents who dare to think, are willing to work hard, and have the ability to deliver results. Failure is experience; success is value. Not trying—that is the greatest risk of all.”
Management innovation, digitalization, and AI must be pursued with real commitment in 2026.
The conference made it clear that innovation occurs not only in laboratories but must also take place in management. This year, the company achieved workforce optimization, improved quality, and reduced costs through management enhancements in roles such as maintenance and statistics—demonstrating conclusively that management itself is a high ground for innovation.
Zhu Xiaokun emphasized: "We must take concrete action on inventory management—rigorous performance evaluations will be used to enforce accountability. Procurement and bidding processes must be fully standardized, open, and transparent. 2026 will be a pivotal year for digitalization and AI adoption; department heads must manage their work based on data-driven insights, and those who fail to act will be reassigned." Additionally, the company will establish the "Tiangong Digital Innovation Award" to drive a closed-loop approach to digital transformation.
Setting off anew: only innovators advance, only innovators grow strong.
Zhu Xiaokun concluded by stressing, “Today’s innovation conference is not an ending, but a new beginning. Only those who innovate move forward; only those who innovate grow strong; only those who innovate prevail.” Looking ahead, Tiangong will continue to break through challenges with innovation and enhance efficiency through reform—ensuring that every technological breakthrough and every management improvement becomes a solid step toward advancing the company to higher-end markets and onto the global stage.
