— Tiangong International Donates Nearly 1.6 Million Yuan to Sichuan Earthquake Relief

As of May 20, 2008, Tiangong International had donated a total of 1,568,066 yuan to support the Sichuan earthquake relief efforts. The donation comprised:

1 million yuan from the company;

218,066 yuan contributed by executives and employees;

250,000 yuan equivalent from a one-day voluntary payroll deduction by all Tiangong staff;

100,000 yuan redirected from planned expenses for chartered buses to send employees home.

Following the devastating earthquake in Wenchuan, Sichuan, Mr. Zhu Xiaokun, Chairman of the Board, was deeply concerned about the affected communities and took immediate action to demonstrate solidarity. Despite being on a business trip, he urgently contacted senior management to ensure a well-organized donation campaign. After an initial personal donation of 250,000 yuan, he further increased his contribution to 1 million yuan, bringing Tiangong’s total donation close to 1.6 million yuan.

“Donations have a price, but compassion is priceless,” Chairman Zhu emphasized. He affirmed that Tiangong’s commitment to supporting disaster-affected regions would continue. In the future, Tiangong will not only provide financial assistance but also extend care and support in daily life and work, striving to fulfill its social responsibilities to the greatest extent.

The donation initiative received an overwhelming response from all Tiangong employees. Though geographically distant from Sichuan, every member of the Tiangong family contributed their share of compassion and support.
