The First Intelligent Production Line of Tiangong High-End Powder Tap Project Is Put Into Operation in April

         In early April 2022, the first intelligent production line for Tiangong High-End Powder Tap Project was officially put into operations in Danyang Economic Development Zone. The first production line incorporates over 60 sets of equipment, including thread grinders, CNC lathes, square grinders, groove grinders, cylindrical grinders, tip trimmers, forming centerless grinders and cleaning equipment.

         Compared to the Company’s existing tap production facilities, this project represents a comprehensive upgrade in equipment, featuring the world-leading tool manufacturing machinery. For pre-heat treatment processes, the precise digital-controlled machine tool is sourced from Japan. The quenching equipment includes vacuum quenching and tempering furnaces from Shanghai Fulcrum. The outer circle grinding is carried out using forming centerless grinder, and post-heat treatment is completed with German thread grinder. The equipment for grinding grooves and squares and other processes are all intelligent CNC machine tools.

         The High-End Powder Tap Project has been planned according to requirements for modernization, intelligence, automation and high-quality standards from the very beginning of its design. The product quality is expected to meet top international standards, enabling them to replace imported taps from renowned foreign brands. Furthermore, leveraging the independent production advantages of Tiangong powder materials, the project will drive the transformation and upgrading of Tiangang’s series of cutting tool products. It will expand the global brand influence of Tiangong's high-end precision cutting tools, establishing it as a premier tap brand in China and even the world. This positions Tiangong to dominate the Chinese market, Simultaneously, it will expand market share in international industrial-grade sectors, automotive repair industries, and aerospace precision applications. This project will address the demand for high-end tools in advanced manufacturing, breaking international monopolies on critical precision tools and filling domestic gaps in this field.
