Tiangong International Successfully Holds Second Session of the Third Workers' Congress
Fulfilling Duties and Responsibility, Living Up to the Honor of Representative - Tiangong International Successfully Holds Second Session of Third Workers' Congress
On April 13, 2022, the second session of Tiangong International Third Workers’ Congress was successfully convened and concluded with great success. Nearly one hundred worker representatives, company management, and members of the Trade Union Committee attended the congress. The congress was presided over by Deputy General Manager Zhu Zefeng.
General Manager Wu Suojun and Trade Union Chairman Yan Ronghua delivered work reports to the congress respectively. Zhu Xiaokun, NPC Deputy and Chairman of the Board of Tiangong International, attended the congress and delivered an important speech. The Administrative Representative Group, Mould Steel Representative Group, High-Speed Steel Representative Group, and Representative Group of Cutting Tools Business Division conducted group deliberations and discussions on the company work report, the union work report, and various suggestions. They particularly solicited opinions from all representatives and held discussions on how to establish a joint prevention and protection management mechanism for workplace safety. The representatives diligently fulfilled their duties, offered suggestions, and put forward many highly valuable recommendations. The four representative groups collectively submitted 259 suggestions, covering all aspects of company management.
Chairman Zhu Xiaokun participated in the group discussion of the Mould Steel Representative Group. He fully affirmed the suggestions put forward by the representatives regarding production management, and joint prevention and control of safety and environmental protection. Zhu Xiaokun expressed his appreciation, noting that the worker representatives were increasingly conscious of their roles, they performed their duties diligently, spoke openly and exhaustively, and shared their perspectives. He was very proud of the report given by General Manager Wu Suojun. The representatives stated that despite the severe pandemic nationwide, Tiangong employees maintained stable work and enjoyed secure livelihoods, expressing profound gratitude for their fortunate circumstances. They expressed deep satisfaction with the report by Union Chairman Yan Ronghua. The suggestions and opinions put forward by the employees were addressed and implemented one by one. Particularly commendable was the proposal to “reduce the number of joint prevention and control units” in safety management, which was deemed highly effective and worthy of recognition.
Chairman Zhu Xiaokun urged all worker representatives to fulfill their duties conscientiously, live up to the honor of their role, and exemplify leadership in their positions. He encouraged them not to disappoint the Company’s expectations nor betray the employees’ trust, but to actively contribute ideas and exercise their representative powers during their tenure, for example, offering suggestions on our production, operations, management optimization, technological innovation, and the establishment of a joint prevention and protection management mechanism for workplace safety, all to help enhance the company's management standards. By exercising their representative powers, they can help elevate the Company’s management standards.
