The First Session of the Fourteen National People’s Congress (NPC) will be convened in Beijing on March 5. On the morning of March 3, carrying the expectations and trust of the people of Zhenjiang, Zhu Xiaokun, NPC Deputy and Chairman of the Board of Tiangong International, departed for Beijing to attend the NPC session.
Zhu Xiaokun has consistently focused on how private enterprises can transform, upgrade, and enhance their growth speed. He has previously put forward multiple proposals related to people's livelihood and industrial development. For this NPC session, based on industrial development and livelihood improvement, Zhu Xiaokun submitted four proposals, including reducing market energy prices, strengthening the market-oriented operation of the energy sector and enhancing the market competitiveness of the manufacturing industry, especially small and medium-sized enterprises; developing advanced manufacturing clusters and making breakthroughs in critical “bottleneck” technologies, supporting R&D of key technologies and production of high-end products through methods like export tax rebates and increased R&D expense rewards; encouraging enterprises to pay more for endowment insurance, retaining more talents and providing them with more retirement security; supporting and encouraging private enterprises to participate in rural revitalization, advocating “one enterprise assisting one village, one enterprise linking one village”, promoting the industrial revitalization in rural areas, and providing key suggestions.
As a re-elected private entrepreneur and NPC deputy from Zhenjiang City, Zhu Xiaokun said that as a NPC deputy, he feels both honored and deeply responsible. He stated that he will deeply cherish the trust and responsibility bestowed by the Party and the people, diligently execute his sacred responsibilities as a people’s representative with unwavering political enthusiasm and pragmatic work attitude, convey the opinions and suggestions he gathered during his extensive visits to local enterprises and people in the early stage, speak up for Zhenjiang, and fully demonstrate the mental outlook of Zhenjiang's representatives.
