Recently, experts from the "Steel and Rare Precious Metals Research Institute" of AECC Beijing Institute of Aeronautical Materials visited Tiangong International for an in-depth exchange on the application of powder metallurgy technology in the field of high-end aviation equipment. Representatives from Tiangong International’s management and technology R&D team participated in the discussion, exploring frontier directions and cooperation opportunities in specialty steel materials.

The visiting experts first toured Tiangong International’s powder metallurgy production line, gaining a systematic understanding of the company’s technical capabilities in powder preparation, microstructure uniformity control, material composition stability, and equipment configuration. Both sides discussed the key advantages and current bottlenecks of powder metallurgy technology, with a focus on its application prospects in the preparation of core component materials such as high-end aviation gear and bearing steel.

During the exchange, both parties agreed that powder metallurgy technology holds significant potential in addressing challenges such as segregation control and insufficient performance consistency in traditional metallurgical processes.
